Finding dog friendly beaches is no longer a hassle with our list below. If we have missed your dog’s favourite beach please let us know! OR comment below. Some of the most popular leash-free dog friendly beaches provide dispensers with dog litter bags. However, you should not rely on their availability. Please make sure you always have means of and dispose of your dog’s droppings, as an on the spot fine applies if you fail to remove your dog’s droppings in a public place.

Dogs are allowed to swim in the water without a lead, but they must be put back on a lead when you are leaving. Also remember: The council doesn’t allow doggies to come within 200 metres of flagged areas on dog friendly beaches, otherwise you could be up for a fine! Also – don’t forget to take along the doggy bags and pick up after your 4 legged friend.
