Easy Quiche Recipe

Quiche – any way you like it!
Real men DO eat quiche. Full of protein and omega acids for strong muscle and brain function – how could a bloke (or a woman) go wrong with this easy to tailor-make meal!
Ingredients
Core Ingredients
6 organic, free-range eggs
1/2 cup of cream
Shortcrust pastry
Optional Ingredients (needing to be pre-fried)
Any onion, garlic or leek (both finely chopped) or other raw ingredients like bacon will add alot of flavour to the quiche but also must be pre-cooked before adding to the egg mixture by gently frying them for 3 minutes first
Optional Ingredients (no need to pre-cook)
Ham, smoked salmon, tin tuna, tinned salmon, brocolli, cauliflower, herbs, tomato, peas, cheese, corn, asparagus, mushroom, capsicum, sweet potato/potato (steamed/par boiled first) etc -use your imagination by thinking of food combinations that would work.
Step 1
Preheat a fan forced oven to 180c
Step 2
Place the uncooked shortcrust pastry into the backing tin or quiche tin that you will be cooking the quiche in and trim off any excess from around the edges.
Step 3
Once this is done, whisk the eggs in a bowl until combined. Add in cream and combine along with the half teaspoon of salt.
Step 4
Gently fry any of the ingredients above that need to be cooked and then add to the egg mixture. Also add in the other ingredients that do not need to be pre-cooked and stir the egg mixture and the ingredients together.
Step 5
Pour the contents of the bowl into the tin that you have prepared with the shortcrust pastry and place into the preheated oven for 25 to 30 minutes. Yum yum!
