Due to the success of already established free wi-fi points throughout Brisbane, the council are spending $2M in rolling out free wi-fi to 20 parks throughout Brisbane. A list of these parks are below:

Wireless Internet In Brisbane Parks
The Lord Mayor, Graham Quirk, has said that each location with have signage to show where the hotspots will be located in each park. Brisbane City Council libraries will also benefit with $413K injection into upgrading the wi-fi that the council deployed in November last year.
